On today’s episode, Evan is joined by Jackson Frank to go over the Phoenix Suns’ 3-0 series lead on the Denver Nuggets in the Western Conference Semifinals. How did the Suns get to this point?
Looking over Phoenix’s latest victory, they look another level compared to Denver. If Jamal Murray was healthy, would this series even be different? Also, one of the tactical points that has plagued the Nuggets is Michael Porter Jr.’s subpar defense. The Suns have made it an emphasis to abuse Porter Jr. whenever he’s on the floor, which makes it a no-win situation for Denver.
Whoever the Suns play next in the Western Conference Finals, they should be the favorites. Evan and Jackson outline why Phoenix is the most balanced team remaining in the West.
Closing out the show, Evan and Jackson go over the Suns’ expensive 2021 offseason that’s upcoming. Not only will Chris Paul still be on board, but Cameron Payne and Torrey Craig have become priority re-signs for Phoenix.
Is this the beginning of Phoenix becoming a powerhouse in the Western Conference for years to come?
