Reminiscing on the Phoenix Suns Advancing to the Western Conference Finals with Max McCauley

On today’s episode, Evan is joined by Max McCauley (@maxmcc11) to go over the Phoenix Suns finishing off the sweep in Denver. What were our biggest takeaways from Game 4, plus the series overall?

Chris Paul put together a masterful performance with 37 points. If this trend continues, the CP3-Devin Booker backcourt is going to be hard to stop for either Utah or Los Angeles in the Western Conference Finals.

Not only do we hit on CP3’s best game yet as a Phoenix Sun, but all of the following players go under the microscope: Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, and Phoenix’s 4-man bench unit. Also, how about head coach Monty Williams coaching circles around Frank Vogel and now Michael Malone in the playoffs?

Closing out the show, Evan and Max reminiscence on how far the Suns have come in such a short amount of time. In their first playoff appearance in 11 seasons, just over two years after Williams was hired, Phoenix is now on the cusp of a potential NBA Finals berth.

Suns fans, rejoice. This was well worth the wait to make this emphatic statement in the playoffs.
